12:00pm- 7:00pm

Race Day: August 24, 2024
Please give yourselves enough time to warm up and prepare for the race.  We recommend 7:45am kids who are participating in the 1km event and 8:00am for all other racers.

START/FINISH Line:  Finlayson Island

Start Times:
Childrens Challenge 1 Km: Start time:  8:00am sharp
All other events walkers and runners 5, 10 km and long course start time: 8:30am sharp


Water stations: There will be water stations available.  But encourage participants to bring their own supply. 
When you arrive: There will be volunteers and the fin team will be there to help direct you and answer your questions!


Quitting or Switching in the middle of a race:
If at any time you need to quit the race please head back to the START/FINISH line and let our team know at the START/FINISH line or the nearest water station to let us know.  There will be no switching distances during the race (ie you were registered for 10km event but decide to do a 5 km race instead during or before the race). If you do decide to switch, your time will not be posted and will be recognized as a disqualification. 


Courtesy:  Please be respectful of other runners or walkers as some of the course is an in and out route and some trails may be single file.  

Important to note: There will be no registration on the day of the race  as all our volunteers will be occupied with other roles.  Please register a head of time as spots are limited!

Bathrooms: Finlayson Island

Your Lovable K9s: To be safe and fair to all participants, dogs are not permitted.

Strollers and wagons: Will not be permitted on the trail for participants safety

Bug Spray: Bring your bug spray as the mosquito population may be high that day.

Finish line:  Timing chips must stay on bib until race is complete.  There will be no manual timers.
